An Alexander with its original geometry intact. The butterfly roofline has never been squared off, the clerestory band runs the full length of the living wing, and the breeze block screen at the entry is the 1959 pattern, not a replacement.

The 2021 restoration was done by people who knew what they were holding. Terrazzo was ground back rather than tiled over, the kitchen was rebuilt to the original footprint with flat-panel walnut, and the glass was upgraded to insulated units in slim frames that keep the sightlines honest.
